Kris Rickett

Kris joined SME in 2025 as an Industrial Hygienist supporting our Brownfields and Industrial Hygiene teams. He has over 35 years of experience in the industrial hygiene and health & safety field having worked on projects for schools, hospitals, industrial sites, and residential properties. He has extensive knowledge in identifying and remediating building hazardous materials including asbestos, lead based paint, mold, PCBs, and radon mitigation.

Kris has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Thomas College. He also holds several professional registrations and certifications.

Kris lives in Freeport, Maine, and has three grown children. Outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, and ATV rides. He also enjoys long road trips and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean.
