Tonya Kinzer

Tonya joined SME in 2025 as a Document Specialist. Tonya has an extensive background in proofreading, copy editing, and editorial consulting having worked with several renowned publishing houses. She has worked with authors and businesses to enhance their written work products.

In Tonya’s role as Document Specialist, she reviews and edits letters, proposals, reports and other technical documents that support SME’s clients and their projects and assures that SME provides the high-quality deliverables our clients have come to expect.

Tonya has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maine in Orono.

Tonya enjoys road tripping around Maine and New England with her family, looking at old houses, sampling the local fare, and searching for must-have antiques and books. When not on the road, she is likely at home, cooking or playing in the garden. Forever planning the next adventure, she will happily listen to your hiking trail or campground recommendations.
