About Paul Monroe
Paul has been with SME for more than 20 years. He is experienced in interpreting plans and specifications and interfacing with contractors, owners, and regulators to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Paul serves as the resident engineer at multiple commercial and industrial landfills, assisting with routine operational issues including water quality investigations, leachate generation evaluations, and oversight of new cell and closure construction.
In addition to his landfill-related activities, Paul has been involved with remediation work at hazardous and non-hazardous sites, assisting with groundwater extraction systems, soil removal, and verification sampling.
Paul received an associate’s degree in Architectural and Civil Engineering Technology from Central Maine Technical College.
