About Anthony E. Pais
Anthony joined SME in 2020 as an Environmental Engineer and assists clients through his work as part of the firm’s Environmental Compliance group. He has six years of engineering and technical experience in environmental compliance and remediation, with specialized expertise in the oil and gas industry. Anthony’s professional background includes conducting groundwater and air sampling activities; subcontractor oversight of monitoring well installations; chemical injections and vacuum remediation events; and the operation and maintenance of systems for sparge/soil vapor extraction, groundwater pump and treatment, and active product recovery.
He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
Anthony and his wife recently relocated to Maine where they look forward to camping and hiking. Anthony also enjoys weightlifting, Italian cooking, and hockey.
