About Anna Dedon

Anna Dedon joined SME in 2023. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (New York) with expertise in civil site design. She has experience in stormwater analysis and management, erosion and sediment control, utility design, and permitting. Her experience working in both urban and rural environments is an asset to SME and our clients.

Anna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware. She is certified as an Envision Sustainability Professional by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.

In her free time Anna enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors through hiking and kayaking. When at home she prefers to spend her time reading, knitting, and hanging out with her cat.

Jennifer Dillon

About Jennifer Dillon

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in office administration and business management. Her work at SME includes billing administration, high-level project support, document review, and HR assistance. She also has experience with event planning and a knack for managing growth.

She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University.

Jennifer is an active dressage horse trainer and competitive rider. She also enjoys photography, boating, and spending time outside doing just about anything.

Patrick Dow

About Patrick Dow

Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the management, administration, and support of computer server, network, desktop, cloud, and mobile technologies. As IT Manager, he designs, implements, and maintains SME’s technology infrastructure and information systems.

As an FAA-certified sUAS (drone) remote pilot, Patrick also works in the field on topography mapping and photogrammetry.

Patrick has an associate’s degree in Computer Technology from Central Maine Community College, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Maine, Orono.

He enjoys hiking and being in nature, meditation retreats, and philosophical discussions.

Stephen Dyer

About Stephen Dyer

Stephen Dyer joined SME in 2023. He is a Maine licensed Professional Engineer and a project manager with over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, site investigation and remediation, and wastewater engineering.

Steve is an expert in Brownfields assessment, having completed over 100 redevelopment projects and over 600 environmental audits for sites throughout New England. He has served as  Qualified Environmental Professional for multiple Brownfields assessment, cleanup, and Revolving Load Fund (RLF) programs in  Maine and New Hampshire.

Additionally, Steve has extensive experience in industrial and hazardous waste related treatments, and stormwater and wastewater infrastructure projects. He has designed complex remedial technologies and due diligence programs that offer cost-effective solutions.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

A Maine native, Steve grew up in the Midcoast. In his free time, he enjoys getting outdoors with his family and friends with the coast and the mountains his usual destinations for rock climbing and hiking.

 

Jason C. Eisenhuth

About Jason C. Eisenhuth

Jason makes sure SME clients keep pace with complex and ever-changing environmental regulations. He is involved in all aspects of environmental compliance programs, such as performing environmental management system audits, conducting training, drafting regulatory manuals and plans, and completing environmental reporting.

Jason is a graduate of St. Lawrence University with bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies.

Maintaining clean water is critical to one of Jason’s hobbies — it is an essential ingredient in the beer he homebrews.

Logan Erickson

About Logan Erickson

Logan joined SME’s Phoenix office as a senior industrial hygienist in 2022. He has 20 years of experience developing lasting business relationships, including eight years in the indoor environmental quality and industrial hygiene consulting industry. He has developed strong business-to-business relationships with hundreds of clients including insurance adjusters and agents, property managers, real estate developers and brokers, business owners, and homeowners.

He has hands-on indoor environmental quality investigation experience, having performed hundreds of inspections for mold, asbestos, lead, and soot/smoke in homes and businesses.

Logan is an avid golfer and an expert in golf course inspection and evaluation. He has been a strong advocate of the sport through his professional and volunteer work with organizations such as the United States Golf Association, the Arizona Golf Association, and the Arizona Women’s Golf Association.

Debra Floyd

About Debra Floyd

Debbie has over 30 years of professional experience in the product stewardship field, including work with large international corporations in roles encompassing global materials procurement, product safety, and regulatory compliance management.

She has extensive, detailed knowledge of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and global food contact regulations and regulatory affairs management through her experience supporting major global product brands and industrial suppliers.

Debbie is a graduate of Oakland City University with a B.S. in organizational management and an M.S. in management.

Outside of work Debbie likes to spend time with her family (especially her grandchildren).  She is a passionate advocate for animal welfare, serving as president of the Board of Directors of the Humane Society in the town where she lives and as a member of the local animal commission.  Debbie and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors, boating, fishing, and traveling.

Alfonso Garcia

About Alfonso Garcia

Alfonso joined SME’s Marietta, Georgia, office in 2022 as a civil and environmental engineer with experience in supporting a range of site development projects, from early-stage planning through construction. He has expertise in performing due diligence investigations; creating grading plans for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater networks; and creating erosion and sedimentation control plans to mitigate the effects of land disturbing activities during construction.

Alfonso is a graduate of the University of Michigan with dual bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and environmental engineering. In college, he was vice president of the campus chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Outside of work, Alfonso is an outdoor enthusiast, an avid traveler, and a huge fan of soccer!

Chris S. Gates

About Chris S. Gates

Chris joined SME’s Phoenix, Arizona office in 2019 to support our firm’s expansion in the southwestern U.S.

As a Senior Industrial Hygienist, Chris consults with clients to provide professional services that focus on protecting and enhancing the health and safety of people in workplaces, schools, hospitals, and other public places.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in environmental, industrial hygiene, and construction consulting, including oversight of inspection and abatement activities for asbestos, lead, and mold at large commercial, military, and industrial sites throughout the country.

Chris has performed and overseen numerous complex environmental projects and has served as an expert witness on several asbestos legal cases and regulatory hearings.

He is a Cal-OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) in California and is approved by the U.S. EPA and Cal-OSHA for course instruction and certification of asbestos professionals.  He also serves on the Board of Directors and is the Immediate Past President of the Environmental Information Association (EIA).

Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Northern Arizona University.

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, camping and playing guitar. He is also a licensed private pilot.

Jenna R. Gilbert

About Jenna R. Gilbert

Jenna works on a variety of assignments primarily in civil design and engineering, stormwater management, and permitting. She is a 2019 graduate of the University of Maine, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Water Resources Engineering.  Jenna has experience in a range of civil, geotechnical, and hydrological engineering projects in which she has gained expertise in subsurface investigations, stormwater systems, and roadway design and construction.

Jenna is qualified by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection as a Site Location of Development (Site Law) Third-Party Inspector, certified in Maine Department of Environmental Protection Erosion Control Practices, and is also a board member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys playing tennis, running, yoga, and rollerblading.
