Brandt Scott

Brandt Scott joined SME’s Water Resources Team in 2026 as a Hydrogeologist. A Licensed Geologist in both Maine and New Hampshire, Brandt has several years of experience in consulting and performing hydrogeologic investigations across New England. This work includes exploration for overburden and bedrock sources, well performance testing, aquifer analyses, stream flow monitoring, geophysical surveys, and geologic mapping. Brandt’s previous work experience in the environmental, oil and gas industries have helped shape his approach to resource exploration.

Brandt received his M.S. in Geology from Utah State University and B.S. in Geology from Union College.

Brandt has many interests outside of work. In the warmer months, he enjoys hiking and camping in the White Mountains with his partner and two dogs. However, once winter rolls around, he turns more towards music production, puzzling, and playing D&D with close friends.
