Lauren Williams

Lauren joined SME in 2025 as an Industrial Hygienist to support our Industrial Hygiene and Indoor Air Quality team. Lauren is experienced in performing indoor air and water quality surveys, industrial hygiene surveys, air sampling, and in monitoring for asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials.

Lauren is knowledgeable in compliance requirements and applicable environmental and safety regulations, and in producing comprehensive reports and performing data analysis.

Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Iowa.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, building terrariums, and caring for her indoor forest of over 20 different species of houseplants.
