Matt Bubar

Matt joined SME in 2024 initially supporting our in-house Geotechnical and Soils Testing Laboratory, before transitioning to our Industrial Hygiene team. As an Industrial Hygienist, Matt is responsible for the collection, testing, analysis, and reporting of laboratory data for hazardous building materials and industrial contaminants.

Matt has over 10 years of experience in the environmental and industrial hygiene fields, including municipal wastewater operations and management. Matt’s areas of expertise include data collection, process control and laboratory analysis, and quality assurance/quality control.

Matt has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Southern Maine.

When not at work, Matt can be found spending time with his family and animals, working on his very old house, or in his garden.
