Ella Siren

Ella joined SME in 2025 as a civil engineer after having completed two consecutive summer internships with our civil engineering team. She has experience in landfill cell design and closure, environmental site assessments, erosion control site visits, and in research of permitting, zoning, and ordinances. She also has performed soils sampling, testing, and analysis in a geotechnical soils laboratory. Ella is certified in Maine Department of Environmental Protection Erosion Control Practices.

Ella has a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, with a concentration in water resources, from the University of Maine.

In her spare time, Ella enjoys hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, traveling, skiing, and live music.
